Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia results due to over acidic body system. When a body is highly acidic it may result into damaging vital organs and hamper our lives. So the main aim here of a doctor is to bring down the acidic levels to neutral in body, and this can be done very effectively through proper diet and diet management.

Raw Vegetable Juice

Fresh juice prepared and taken everyday can be beneficial. Try taking 3 glasses of fresh raw vegetable juice everyday for best results. Beetroot, Pumpkin, Cucumber juices are best that can be taken to overcome Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.

Raw Vegetable and Fruits

Have fresh raw vegetables for meals. One can also take fresh fruits they like at intervals or as snacks.

Tofu

Soya paneer or Tofu is extremely rich in Protein and beneficial for chronic fatigue syndrome or fibromyalgia. But remember do not take excess of Soya products.

Sprouts

Sprouts are healthy and rich in Vitamins to nourish body. So take fresh sprouts each day like Moong Dal (Green Gram), Methi (Fenugreek) sprouts.

Potatoes

Potatoes cooked along with skin is beneficial, as they are non acidic in nature when cooked skin.

Flax Seeds / Nuts / Sesame Seeds

Dry-ground all the three i.e Flax Seeds, nuts and sesame seeds taken along with honey and cardamom’s will be an excellent dessert dish. One can store the dry mixture in refrigerator and have the mixture when required.

Meat / Fish

Meat and Fish cooked without oil will be beneficial in such situation. Saute Meat or Fish with dry masala and them simmered to make gravy will be useful and beneficial and they are rich source of proteins and vitamin B.

Green Vegetables

Green leafy vegetables like Spinach and Lettuce if consumed will bring down the acidic level in body. Both Spinach and Lettuce are rich source of magnesium and folate.

Green Tea

Green and herbal tea taken with lemon and honey is extremely beneficial for combating chronic fatigue syndrome.

Dry Fruits

Dry fruits like Dates and Raisins are good for instant energy. Although being very sweet in taste Raisins and Dates are alkaline in nature because of high mineral content.

Food to Avoid for Chronic Fatigue Syndrome

  • Wheat
  • Dairy products
  • Coffee
  • Tea
  • Processed foods
  • Vinegar
  • Sugar and sweets

All these food give rise to acid level in body and need to be avoided.
