Foods rich in omega-3 fatty acids
Omega-3 fatty acids are always recommended by the doctors for a healthy life.Omega- 3 fatty acids are considered to be very important source of polyunsaturated acids which improves the heart health, cure diabetes-type 2, maintain the blood pressure, lowers the cholesterol level, prevents blood clotting, and reduces the joint pain and stiffness.

Omega 3 fatty acids are very effective when obtained from food instead of taken as omega-3 supplements.There are fats such as dietary fats which can let you gain weight and creates a lot of health issues for you but omega 3 fatty acids are the type of fats which maintains the normal functioning of your body as well as nourish and replenish your body time to time .

1) Flax seeds-

2)Fish oil-
Fish oil can be obtained from variety sources.Fish oil is available in liquid form as well as in capsule form.One capsule of fish oil is sufficient in a day, also try to store the fish oil supplements in air -tight container to retain it for long time and preventing from damage.
3)Walnuts-
Walnuts are very tasty to eat and at the same time rich in omega 3 fatty acids. Walnuts provide other benefits too to the body in form of protein , iron and fiber.Handful of walnuts are sufficient for a day to maintain the cholesterol of your body at a healthy level.
4)Eggs-
Boiled egg a day during morning is very nutritious for the health.People who have cholesterol level problem should consult their doctor before including egg in their diet.

5)Spinach-
Spinach has high content of omega 3 fatty acids.One cup of boiled spinach is sufficient for a day.Spinach is rich source of iron and contains very less or no calories.
6)Cauliflower-
Cauliflower contains lots of omega 3 fatty acids and is also rich in niacin, potassium and magnesium.All these supplements are very beneficial for healthy heart.
7)Soybeans-
Soy product such as soy beans and soy milk helps improving heart health and maintains the cholesterol level. One cup of soy milk is sufficient to provide the necessary amount of omega 3 fatty acids to the body.
