Deep-fried food increases risk of prostrate cancer
If you are a french fries lover or you can not live without fried chicken or fried fish, then you should hold yourself as you may be heading for a trouble that leads to prostrate cancer.A new study suggested that eating deep fried foods regularly or in excess may lead to life threatening prostrate cancer.

The co-director of Hutchinson Center, Janet L. Stanford and his team found that people who consume fried food like french fries, fried chicken or fried fish once a week are more vulnerable of developing prostrate cancer as compared to people who used to eat such foods very less or once in a month.
The study was done by diagnosing 1500 men who were suffering from prostrate cancer and another group of 1500 men who were not suffering from prostrate cancer. Both the groups were discussed about their eating habits.Men who said that they consume fried food once a week were about 30-40 percent are more exposed to the prostrate cancer as compared to men who ate fried food once in a month.
The study was also supported by the U.S National Cancer Institute. The reason behind the increased risk is given by the fact that when the oil is heated to high degrees of temperature, the carcinogenic compounds are formed in the fried food. These carcinogenic compounds include toxic elements such as acrylamide, aldehyde, acrolein andf polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons which possibly increases in amount every time the oil is reused and fried for longer time.
Food which are cooked at high degrees of temperature contains high level of glycation end products which can cause high oxidative stress and intense inflammation in the body that leads to health disorders like prostrate cancer.
