Foot Hygiene

Its very important to maintain foot hygiene, wash your feet regularly when you get time, and don’t put on socks or shoes until your feet are properly dry. Apply talc to your feet after washing, it helps a lot in getting rid of sweat.

Use Deodorant

Your regular Deodorants  can help you in great extent in getting rid of foot odor. Buy a Deo that contain aluminum chloride hexahydrate. Don’t use Deodorant if you suffer from ring worm or some other kind of fungus. Consult your medic before using a Deodorant.

Pedicure

Go for a pedicure and pamper yourself a little bit. You would love it 🙂

Vinegar

Soak your feet in a mixture of of vinegar and water in 1:2 ratio. Relax for 15 mins, and go ahead and repeat this foot bath twice a week.

Tea Bath

Boil some tea and let it cool, soak your feet in it for 30 mins every night before going to bed. The tannin acid kill the bacteria and helps in reducing the foot odor. Do this process for atleast 10 days and see the results yourself.

Baking Soda Bath

Dissolve 2 tbs of Baking Soda or Salt in half a bucket of lukewarm water, soak your feet for 30 min before going to bed.

Correct Footwear

Watch what you wearing, you feet need to breathe so choose a footwear that allow your feet to breathe. Say a complete NO to Rubber and Plastic Shoe as it would not allow your feet to perspire.

Change Shoe

Let you Shoe dry completely before wearing it, always keeps a spare shoe with yourself. Do not wear same shoe everyday as it does not allow shoe to dry throughly, resulting into foot odor.

Avoid Anxiety

If you are stressed this could also be a cause of foot odor. Try and keep yourself stress free by practicing yoga and some meditation. A relaxed mind will keep your body healthy.

Eating Habits

Avoid food like garlic, onion, pepper if you perspire a lot. These food items stimulate your sweat glands and thus resulting in sweaty and stinky feet.
