Urinary tract infection in children is a common problem now a days. Approximately one percent of children under five years of age suffer from this disease.

After seven days of antibiotic medication, this disease is usually cured. In certain cases injections can also be given to the patient.

About 10% children go for dialysis due to a disease known as Obstructive Uropathy. In the same way 30% children suffering from chronic kidney disease are more effected to UTI. Due to Vesicoureteric reflux 25% children are prone to urinary tract infections. UTI is common in 25% children in the world.
