A good sound sleep is necessary for human for physical as well as for emotional well being.Sound sleep works magic for good health.Sleep disorders such as insomnia and sleep apnea are the reasons behind bad health conditions.As a result many people around the world suffers from chronic diseases such as stress and depression.
According to a new study a good sleep during night promotes positive and happy thoughts .70 people were divided into two groups , one who get a good sound sleep during night and the other one who do not sleep at all during the night hours.
Positive images of puppies and flowers are then shown to the people belonging to both the groups.The memories of the participants were then tested after 12 long hours.The only motto behind the test was to examine that how long the happy memories remain in the brain of a person who take a good night sleep and the person who stay awake all through the night.
The professor Rebecca Spencer of University of Massachusetts says the results showed that a good sleep without any intervention strengthen our positive memories emotionally.The study is a breakthrough in treating people suffering from post traumatic stress disorders.
