Home remedies for foot pain
Foot pain is a very common ailment to occur.It effects people of all age groups.Pain can be felt in any part of the foot-heel, sole, ankles or toes.There are numerous reason for foot pain such as age, uncomfortable shoes,diabetes, deficiency of certain minerals and fracture.

There are some home remedies that can provide you relief from the foot pain naturally.

Ice
Ice therapy is the best known therapy to reduce the foot pain.Crush some ice , put it into plastic bag and use it to massage the area where the pain occurs.Ice numbs the area of the foot where you feel pain, providing temporary relief. It also helps in reducing the swelling .Do not apply the ice pack for more than 10 minutes otherwise it will harm the nerves of the foot.

Hot and cold water
Hot and cold treatment reduces the pain instantly.This treatment can be done by applying the hot water and cold water alternatively on the affected area of the foot.Hot water promotes the flow of the blood whereas cold water reduces the swelling and inflammation.You can take 2 buckets, one filled with warm water and other with cold water.Now dip your feet one by one alternatively first in warm water bucket and then in cold water bucket.

Mustard seeds
Grind some mustard seeds and mix them in a bucket half full with warm water.Dip your feet into the bucket for atleast 10 minutes.Mustard seeds helps in removing the toxic content from the body, reduce inflammation and promotes blood circulation.

Vinegar
Take 2 buckets, add vinegar in equal amount to both the bucket.Now add some cold water to one bucket and some warm water to another bucket.Take a towel ,soak it in warm water bucket first, squeeze it and wrap it around your foot where the pain occurs ,atleast for 5 minutes.Now repeat the process with cold water bucket.Repeat it 3-4 times.

Clove oil
Clove oil is the best remedy to cure athlete’s foot, headache, and joint pain.Take few drops of clove oil and massage it on the affected area.For quick relief massage for 2-3 times a day.Clove oil improves the blood circulation and relaxes feet muscles thus reducing the pain or strain.
Foot pain ranges from minor to major in some cases.If the foot pain is minor, it is felt for some time and then it goes away by its own but if the pain is serious, it needs extra care and could lead to serious injury if not treated well in time.So it would be good if you consult your doctor if the pain persists for more than 3-4 days of time.
