Nasal Irrigation
Nasal irrigation is the most common way to treat and prevent sinus pain and inflammation.Nasal irrigation uses the saline pump or neti pot to clean the impurities of sinus cavity.The neti pot is used to mix the saline solution which is poured into one nostril and irrigation through the sinus cavity comes out from another nostril.Also, stop the usage immediately if you experience any burning sensation and consult your doctor.
Compresses
The sinus pain pressure can be reduced by applying the hot and cold compress combination.Take a old sock and fill it with rice and tie it at one end.Put the rice filled sock into the microwave and heat it for two minutes.Place the warm compress over your nose and eye area for 30 minutes while lying on your back. Replace the hot compress with the cold compress like frozen peas over your nose and eyes for at least 30 seconds.repeat the whole process 3-6 times a day.
