Natural ways to treat Insomnia

Sleeping disorder or Insomnia is very common among the upper class people.Sleepless nights not only effects the mental health but also the physical health of a person.Sleep disturbances affects the functioning of glands secreting hormones, causes diseases like high blood pressure and heart diseases.

Insomnia badly effects the mind causing confusion, lack of concentration,memory lapses and loss of co-ordination.

Meditate at least for once before going to bed to relief your min. Make your mind calm and away from all disturbances for a peaceful and restful sleep.Herbs that can be used to reduce the sleeping problem are Aswagandha, Jatamansi, Brahmi, Sarpagandha.

Avoid tea, coffee, sugar, cold drinks, alcohol,chocolate, fried and fatty foods, and white flour foods.Avoid salt or use low amount of salt in your diet.

Exercise is a very important aspect of daily life activities, so its better to exercise regularly without any loss.Go for a walk atleast1 Mile a day.Avoid stress and meditate.

Include foods like cereals, pulses, nuts, green vegetables and whole grain in your diet.Dairy products likeĀ  Milk, clarified butter and curd are also healthy to eat.
