Negative impacts of caffeine while breastfeeding
According to a latest study it is found that consuming any beverage like tea or coffee while breastfeeding can have negative impact on the baby’s health.

The scientist says that during breastfeeding many women are in a habit of eating or drinking something or the other. Not all food items but some are regarded as bad for the babies. Drinking tea, coffee, soft drinks, chocolates or any energy drinks while feeding should be avoided.
All in all it can be said that usually that items which contain high amount of caffeine should not be consumed at the same time of feeding your child, this is because the babies are unable to digest or exude caffeine properly with the result problems like fretfulness or improper sleep can be noticed in the child’s behavior.
High caffeinated drinks like tea, coffee, ice cream or sweets contains 320 mg caffeine on an average. Those women who are in a habit of consuming caffeine while breastfeeding are more upset with their child’s health compare to those who don’t. It is also observed that later on such babies have problems regarding concentration and had developed a hyperactive behaviors, moreover high amount of caffeine decreases the level of iron in mother’s milk which is another reason of deteriorating child’s health.
It is strictly advised to lessens the amount of caffeine intake during feeding your child if you are in a habit of drinking or eating high caffeinated food items. After becoming a mother it is very important to take care of your diet as well as your child’s health. Every thing should be consumed in proper amount and make sure before eating anything that whether it is good for your baby’s health or not.
