Transcendental meditation reduces stress in students

Transcendental meditation is an effortless technique in which mind  spontaneously arrives the source of the thought.Transcendental meditation is usually practiced 10-15 minutes in the morning and then again in the evening.The meditation brings the mind to a restful state.

The latest survey including 106 schools shows 36 percent reduce in the  the stress levels of many students. The students practicing the transcendental meditation were found to overcome the stress situations and depressive symptoms very quickly as compared to students who do not practice any kind of meditation.

Charles Elder,who led the survey says the stress effects the mental health and if it is reduced, the risk of hypertension, obesity, diabetes and  major heart diseases also decreases.

Maharishi Mahesh Yogi first introduced the transcendental meditation in India is one of the forms of mantra meditation.The new findings proves that students who are less stressed perform well in their academics.
